David executes transactions from start to finish on behalf of his clients.  David has in-depth experience in traditional buy-side/sell-side M&A, venture capital transactions and minority investments.  David specializes in private equity and investor-side representation.

David also acts as outside general counsel for start-up and middle-market clients, drafting and negotiating key commercial contracts and advising them on a variety of legal matters.

David fiercely represents his clients. He prides himself in offering sophisticated but practical and efficient solutions for his clients.

David has been recognized in the 2021-2024 editions of The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in the Mergers & Acquisitions Law category. In 2022, David was honored by The M&A Advisor with the 13th Annual Emerging Leaders Award. 

Prior to joining Vedder Price, David was a Supply Chain Management Consultant in Chicago, where he developed cost-saving solutions for his clients.

David grew up in Chicago, where he still lives with his family in Logan Square. David is very involved in the local community and is on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless and volunteers at Lakeview Pantry.
