Ms. Parnes advises clients on a variety of transactional and general corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, sales, equity offerings, investment activities, private placements, joint ventures, minority investments and other general corporate matters. She also counsels corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships on formation and governance issues and securities rules and regulations, including preparation and review of SEC filings.

Ms. Parnes serves as Chair of the firm’s Associate Hiring Committee.

From 2016 until 2019, Ms. Parnes was recognized as an Illinois Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers. She is also recommended as a Next Generation Lawyer by the Legal 500 United States in the M&A/Corporate and Commercial—M&A: Middle-Market (Sub-$500M) category. She received the M&A Advisor's 12th Annual Emerging Leaders Award in 2021 and was named one of Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Women in Law in 2024.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. Parnes was an Associate at two Am Law 100 firms in New York.
