The Vedder Price Privacy, Media & Cybersecurity practice group has produced a comprehensive update to the Actual Malice Practice Guide, published by the Media Law Resource Center (MLRC). In an effort led by Shareholders Bryan Clark and Blaine Kimrey, the Vedder team of litigation attorneys provided over 200 hours of pro bono work to update the MLRC’s guide for the first time in 18 years. 

This new edition will analyze the impact of recent Supreme Court decisions and casework pertaining to actual malice, including the Twombly and Iqbal Supreme Court decisions. The Privacy, Media & Cybersecurity practice will continue its partnership with MLRC, providing one of its top resources to the organization’s members.
