Mr. Reinisch is a litigator with a broad commercial and white collar practice.  He represents and advises clients across industries from inception to final judgment in disputes involving commercial contracts, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, media and privacy, intellectual property, and employment issues.  Mr. Reinisch also represents clients and individuals in sensitive cases and internal investigations involving the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other government agencies.  He further draws on those diverse experiences to counsel clients on compliance and litigation avoidance.  

Mr. Reinisch is an experienced trial attorney, having recently second chaired a multi-week, federal criminal jury trial involving an alleged $245 million securities and accounting fraud scheme.  Mr. Reinisch helped obtain a complete defense verdict for the firm’s client, a former accounting executive, resulting in his acquittal of all 14 counts charged against him.  Mr. Reinisch has also handled multiple disputes involving securities broker-dealers and individual executives in binding arbitrations.  

In addition, Mr. Reinisch regularly counsels clients on data security protocols and data breach response. He helps clients navigate the aftermath of ransomware attacks, coordinates forensic investigations, and advises on nationwide reporting and notification obligations following the unauthorized acquisition or disclosure of protected data.

In law school, Mr. Reinisch served as the Managing Editor of Notes and Comments for the DePaul Law Review and as a legal writing teaching assistant. Prior to law school, Mr. Reinisch studied journalism at the Missouri School of Journalism.
