Mr. Kaiser focuses his practice in the area of federal tax law and advises corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and individual clients on a wide range of tax matters. He has experience in taxable and nontaxable business acquisitions and restructurings, financing transactions, asset securitizations, executive compensation, state and local tax, and other complex business transactions. Mr. Kaiser also has substantial experience in researching the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations and other U.S. federal, state and foreign tax authorities for the purpose of analyzing the tax implications of various business and individual matters.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Mr. Kaiser served as an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. In that role, he worked with multinational corporations, partnerships and other flow-through entities, hedge funds and private equity firms in the areas of federal and state tax due diligence, distressed company restructurings, post-merger integrations and tax planning for acquisitions and divestitures.
