The Real Estate practice group at Vedder Price was recently recognized by Midwest Real Estate News in its annual "Best of the Best" survey, which ranked law firms by the total number of real estate transactions completed in the previous calendar year within a 13-state region. The firm's Real Estate group was ranked 22nd on the list.

Vedder Price completed 282 real estate deals in 2013 in the areas of commercial, industrial, land, office, multifamily, health care, condominium, residential, retail, student housing and farm. These transactions involved properties in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin.

The Vedder Price Real Estate group is chaired by William J. Lewis and comprises nearly 20 attorneys in the firm's Chicago and New York offices.
