The Real Estate practice group at Vedder Price was recently recognized by Midwest Real Estate News in its annual "Best of the Best" survey, which ranks law firms by the total number of real estate transactions completed in the previous calendar year within a 13-state region. This year, the firm's Real Estate group was ranked 27th on the list.

Vedder Price completed 188 real estate deals in 2014, in the areas of commercial, industrial, land, office, multifamily, health care, condominium, residential, retail, student housing and farm ground. These transactions involved properties in the states of:  Illinois; Indiana; Iowa; Kansas; Kentucky; Michigan; Minnesota; Missouri; North Dakota; Ohio; Tennessee; South Dakota; and Wisconsin.

The Vedder Price Real Estate group is chaired by William J. Lewis, and is comprised of nearly 20 attorneys in the firm's Chicago and New York offices.
