Vedder Price Associate Lyndsey Wajert will moderate a panel at the 36th Annual Media and the Law Seminar on April 12, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. (CT) in Kansas City, Missouri.

Lyndsey – an attorney in the firm’s Privacy, Media and Cyber Security group – will lead the session “Too Hot to Handle? Defending Speech in the Face of Government Censorship” alongside her industry colleagues. She is joined by Vera Eidelman of the ACLU, Jennifer Jones of the Knight First Amendment Institute and Darpana Sheth of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE). The session will explore each attorney’s perspectives on government action on censorship, threats against media and speech freedoms, First Amendment legislation and more.
