We are pleased to announce that Shareholder and Chair of the Real Estate Practice Group Andrew Torre has been named to the 2021 class of Fellows of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). LCLD is an organization of more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have dedicated themselves to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. Their programs are designed to attract, inspire and nurture talent within organizations to help a new and more diverse generation of attorneys ascend to positions of leadership. The class of Fellows participates in a landmark program to identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
Mr. Torre, who is also Chair of Vedder Price’s Diversity Committee, said, “This is the firm’s fourth year partnering with LCLD and we are proud to work with such an important organization on a cause that is consistent with the firm’s values. It’s an honor to be named the next Vedder Price Fellow and I look forward to connecting with more diverse attorneys through LCLD’s programming.”
This is the third year in a row Vedder Price is also participating in the LCLD Pathfinders program, and the first year that two associates were selected. Pedro F. Eraso and Melissa W. Kopit were selected to be members of LCLD’s 2021 class of Pathfinders, a program that trains high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development.
