Vedder Price is pleased to announce that shareholder Javier Lopez has been appointed by the Mayor of Miami and the City Commission to the Miami Planning, Zoning & Appeals Board (PZAB).

The Board acts as the gatekeeper for real estate development for the City of Miami. The Board addresses all requests for variances and exceptions to the building code such as height and density issues related to a particular development. Additionally, the Board acts as the local planning agency.
