The Vedder Price Global Transportation Finance team was honored by Airfinance Journal for its role in three 2017 “Deals of the Year.” Each year, AirFinance Journal recognizes aviation transactions that stand out in terms of innovation, size, timing, pricing and whether the deal creates a new market standard. This is the third year in a row that Vedder Price has been recognized.

Vedder Price was recognized in the following categories in 2017:

• Editors Deal of the Year – Vedder Price represented Aero Capital Solutions(ACS) in connection with a warehouse facility to finance its mid-life investing strategy, which included many bespoke features designed to facilitate efficient portfolio management by ACS. The Vedder Price team was led by Shareholder Adam R. Beringer and included support from Matthew P. Larvick and Justine L. Chilvers.
• Bank Loan Deal of the Year – Vedder Price represented Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and DVB Bank SE in the pre-delivery payment financing of fifteen Airbus model A320ceo aircraft for DAE Capital. The Vedder Price team was led by Shareholder Cameron A. Gee.
• Used Deal of the Year – Vedder Price represented DVB Bank in a secured term loan financing for Altavair involving two Boeing model 777-200LR aircraft on lease to Emirates. The Vedder Price team was led by Shareholders Jeffrey T. Veber and Christopher A. Setteducati and included support from Justine L. Chilvers.
