Associate

Ellen “Ellie” M. Hemminger is an Associate in Vedder Price’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment group.

Ms. Hemminger focuses her practice defending employment-related claims, including discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour issues, class action litigation and restrictive covenant matters. Ms. Hemminger has litigated in state and federal courts, as well as represented clients in arbitrations and before state and federal administrative agencies. Ms. Hemminger also works with clients to develop policies and procedures and counsels on various employment issues such as leaves of absences and workplace investigations. 

Ms. Hemminger received her law degree, cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Marquette University. 

Ms. Hemminger was named a Rising Star in the area of Employment & Labor by Super Lawyers in 2024.
