Shareholder and member of the firm’s Investment Services group, Deborah Eades, will participate in a panel discussion at the Chicago Investment Adviser Compliance Symposium held at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business’ Gleacher Center on July 16, 2019.

Ms. Eades’ session, “Form ADV Part 2: Identifying and Disclosing Conflicts”, will address how to identify conflicts of interest within the framework of the SEC’s Form ADV Part 2, a “plain English” narrative approach to client disclosure. The panel will examine the form’s 19 specific potential disclosure topics, including advisory business, fees and compensation, performance fees and side-by-side management. Additionally, the panel will discuss the “brochure supplement” requirement, which is a resume-like disclosure for each individual providing advice to a client.
