Blaine C. Kimrey, a Shareholder in the Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Litigation practice area, will present a workshop at the 21st Annual Conference of the ABA’s Forum on Communications Law on February 4–6 in Naples, Florida. The conference will consist of a variety of workshops and plenary sessions highlighting current trends and issues facing communications lawyers today.

Mr. Kimrey’s workshop, “Hot Issues on the Internet and Data Privacy,” will focus on a number of concerns regarding the world of cybersecurity. Issues to be addressed during the workshop will include how companies should respond to cyber and privacy developments from Congress and the EU; what individuals should expect with regard to privacy on mobile apps and location data; and how to effectively reduce the risk of cyber-attacks on secured data, along with a number of other critical matters.
