As Assistant General Counsel, Ms. Howell represents the firm in all legal, risk and compliance matters affecting the firm, including assisting in the day-to-day management of the Conflicts, Docket and Records and Information Compliance departments.

While in the Bankruptcy group, Ms. Howell represented lenders, chapter 7 trustees, equipment lessors, landlords, and trade creditors. She represented and advised clients in a wide variety of bankruptcy matters and has experience litigating matters in state and federal courts.

While in law school, Ms. Howell was a managing editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. She was also a judicial intern for the judges of the 19th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois.

Since 2021, Ms. Howell has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for the categories of Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law and Litigation - Bankruptcy.
