Zach Clark is an Associate in Vedder Price’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Litigation group.

Mr. Clark advises clients on a wide array of matters affecting their businesses and interests. His practical, direct approach serves clients in managing contractual concerns, mitigating risk, and navigating complex commercial litigation.

Mr. Clark received his J.D., graduating cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and was elected Notes and Comments Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review. He earned CALI Awards for the highest grade in both the Jerome Mirza Trial Academy and Civil Litigation Clinic and also served as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing & Analysis and Introduction to Advocacy. While in law school, Mr. Clark interned in the legal department of a national franchised restaurant chain and worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Jeffrey B. Ford of the 6th Judicial Circuit of Illinois. Mr. Clark was named a Rising Star in Business Litigation in 2024 by Super Lawyers. Mr. Clark is licensed to practice in federal and state court in Illinois.

  • Led multiple investigations into former executives’ and employees’ pre-departure actions and advise to protect companies’ business interests.
  • Secured American Arbitration Association® (AAA) arbitration victory on behalf of publicly traded company in a complex contractual dispute.
  • Represented multiple companies and individuals in international AAA hearing involving claims for breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and alter ego liability.
  • Obtained dismissal of multiple complaints attempting to assert claims for misappropriation of trade secrets and other ancillary claims.
  • Represented shareholder in evidentiary hearing on competing preliminary injunction motions.
  • Defended a large equipment financing company in numerous matters involving credit reporting statutes such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as other consumer protection statutes.
