His session will address how emerging economic forces, ever-changing regulations and standards, technological developments and the persistent threat of legal liability continue to shape the practice of accounting. Mr. Berger's session will focus on electronically stored information (ESI) and other developments in accounting litigation, including evolving technical standards in cloud data storage, its relation to ESI management for accountant clients and special issues raised by new electronic devices. Mr. Zubairi's session, "SEC and the Profession," will address the SEC’s heavy enforcement docket on accounting matters, with a discussion of enforcement initiatives and trends.
