According to the report, a firm must have had at least 100 patent applications disposed of in the relevant art units during the one-year period after June 13, 2014 to be considered for inclusion in this list. The firms are ranked by their average allowance rates in Technology Center 1600, with Vedder Price ranking 9th at 70.9% due to the firm's outstanding commitment to patent prosecution in the life sciences sector.
