Vedder Price Expands Global Transportation Finance Team with Addition of Hoyoon Nam in New York and London
Vedder Price is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Hoyoon Nam as a new Shareholder in the firm’s New York and London offices.
Nam’s addition marks a significant milestone for Vedder Price’s Global Transportation Finance team, already one of the largest, most experienced and best recognized transportation finance practices in the world. His arrival is particularly noteworthy in the firm’s expansion of the already robust maritime finance team that spans across the globe, including London, Singapore and New York.
Nam brings more than 15 years of experience to Vedder Price in his new role. He has extensive experience in the maritime and transportation finance sector acting for owners and financing sources as well as private credit matters representing investment funds. He will also focus on advising clients on regulatory issues relevant to maritime financing transactions including the Jones Act, American Fisheries Act and vessel registry requirements.

Prior to joining Vedder Price, Nam was a partner with Seward & Kissel LLP in the corporate finance group. He received his law degree from Fordham University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Williams College, cum laude. A native of South Korea, he is qualified in New York, England and Wales and the Marshall Islands.
