Vedder Price Celebrates International Women’s Day
WAVES (Women at Vedder) celebrated International Women’s Day today, March 8, with an Empowering Women program at each of our six offices. Shareholders Mehtap Cevher Conti and Cathy O'Kelly discussed their paths to Shareholder and the importance of mentoring and assisting other women along their career paths.
The event also featured a short presentation from Camille Aponte from Dress for Success, who discussed the mission of the organization as well as how to get involved. As a lead-up to this celebration of International Women’s Day, the firm was proud to hold a donation drive for Dress for Success to help give women a new start. For three and a half weeks, employees donated gently-used business attire and unopened toiletries to the Dress for Success cause.
