Vedder Price Attorney Mindy Wong Elected as President of the Charles Houston Bar Association
Vedder Price is pleased to announce that Mindy Wong, an attorney in Vedder Price’s San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Litigation group, has been elected President of the Charles Houston Bar Association (“CHBA”). Wong is a CHBA Lifetime Member and has served on the CHBA Board of Directors for the past three years.
“I am honored to serve as the next President of the Charles Houston Bar Association, and am eager to continue my work in serving my community with a focus on our pipeline and mentoring the next generation of Black lawyers,” said Wong.
Founded in 1955, CHBA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization comprised of lawyers, judges and law students based in Northern California. Since being founded, CHBA has been at the forefront of civil rights, racial justice, diversity, equity and inclusion.
In addition to Wong’s election, Vedder Price was honored with a CHBA Corporate Recognition Award for the pro bono legal services the firm has provided to CHBA. Vedder Price was also a proud sponsor of the CHBA 67th Annual Gala where scholarships are awarded to deserving law students.
Wong attended the CHBA Gala on December 3, where she accepted the award on behalf of the firm and was sworn into office.
