Thomas G. Hancuch, a Shareholder in Vedder Price's Chicago office and a member of the firm's Labor & Employment group, will participate at the American Bar Association's Joint Committee on Employee Benefits's 2015 Government Invitational Conference on March 25–27 in Baltimore, Maryland. The three-day invitation-only conference brings together roughly 85 private- and public-sector professionals to discuss current employee benefits policy issues in an off-the-record, open dialogue format. Conference attendees include senior officials from the IRS, DOL, PBGC, HHS and EEOC, as well as Congressional staff members. Mr. Hancuch will participate as a panelist in the breakout session, "Retirement Plan Exit Strategies," which focuses on the movement away from defined benefit pension plans, de-risking strategies, and new hybrid plan designs.
