Ted Tierney Ranked Among Top 100 Labor Law Attorneys
Ted Tierney, a Shareholder at Vedder Price and member of its Labor and Employment group, has recently been named to the list of Top 100 Labor Attorneys in the United States for 2009, as compiled by Labor Relations Institute, Inc., a leading industry information source.
Inclusion on the list puts Mr. Tierney in the top one percent of labor attorneys in the U.S., making him one of the most active attorneys representing companies in National Labor Relations Board monitored elections.
Mr. Tierney made the elite list by being selected from more than 9,000 attorneys evaluated by Labor Relations Institute. The honor of “Top One Hundred” was determined by the number of NLRB elections in which each attorney provided representation and the success of those election outcomes.
“To be included in the Top One Hundred is a tremendous honor,” according to Donald P. Wilson, CEO of the Labor Relations Institute, Inc. “It acknowledges these attorneys’ professionalism and long-term dedication to their clients.”
Mr. Tierney counsels small and large manufacturing, service and not-for-profit corporations in all aspects of labor law. He is a successful litigator and has held the position of Trial Attorney with the National Labor Relations Board. From 1964 to 1967, he held the position of Judge Advocate as Captain in the United States Air Force.
He is a frequent presenter on labor law topics before trade and professional associations.
