Sudip Mitra to Receive Patent Hub Award from USPTO
We are pleased to announce that Intellectual Property Associate Sudip K. Mitra will be honored at the Patent Hub Awards Ceremony on April 5, 2018. The United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) will present the certificate to Mr. Mitra and thirteen other attorneys who have contributed significant pro bono hours in 2017. Mr. Mitra volunteered substantial time in counseling Chicago Kent College of Law Illinois Institute of Technology Inventors in 2017, a partnership that was initiated in 2017 by Intellectual Property Shareholder Angelo Bufalino.
“I’m very proud of the time and effort Sudip has put into counseling these talented inventors from Kent over the past year,” said Mr. Bufalino. “The demand for Intellectual Property attorneys is booming with innovation in every sector, and this award emphasizes the importance of the pro bono IP services we can provide at Vedder.”
