Steven Berger, John Eickemeyer and Junaid Zubairi to Present at 2014 ALI CLE Accountants' Liability Program
Vedder Price Shareholders Steven R. Berger, John H. Eickemeyer and Junaid A. Zubairi will participate in an upcoming ALI CLE program, "Accountants' Liability 2014: Confronting Enforcement and Litigation Risks," being held September 11-12, 2014, in Washington, DC. Once again, Mr. Eickemeyer is serving as a Planning Chair of this year's conference. In addition, he will participate in sessions to discuss current developments and provide a course overview as well as address how experts can contribute to every phase of litigation, share practical tips for working with consulting and testifying experts, and discuss recent procedural rule changes affecting expert reports and discovery. Mr. Berger's session will focus on ethical issues concerning employee discipline and maintaining privilege in the context of internal investigations. Mr. Zubairi's session will concentrate on current SEC enforcement initiatives with an emphasis on accounting and financial fraud matters.
