Mr. Alsip focuses his practice on a broad range of investment services matters, including representing U.S.-registered investment companies and funds, their boards of directors and investment advisers in regulatory compliance and governance matters under U.S. securities laws. 

He brings experience from a global accounting firm where he consulted clients on state and local sales and use tax laws and offered tailored recommendations to improve compliance while minimizing tax liabilities. While there, he also drafted and prepared diverse formal documents, including refund requests and voluntary disclosure applications, for submission to state and local departments of revenue to ensure the successful resolution of client tax matters and mitigation of penalties.

Mr. Alsip attended the University of Missouri School of Law where he participated in the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic providing legal assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout the state of Missouri on topics that included contract and general corporate law. During his time in law school, Mr. Alsip served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable S. Cotton Walker of the 19th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri.
