Speakers
William M. Isaac is chairman of LECG’s Global Financial Services division. Prior to his position at LECG, Mr. Isaac founded the Secura Group, a leading consulting firm, which was acquired by LECG in 2007. Before forming Secura, Mr. Isaac headed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation during the banking crisis of the 1980s, serving under Presidents Carter and Reagan from 1978 through 1985.
Thomas P. Desmond is Co-Chairman of Vedder Price’s Executive Compensation practice group. Mr. Desmond is nationally known for his representation of corporations, compensation committees and executives with respect to employment and compensation matters, and has been quoted on these matters in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Chicago Tribune.
James M. Kane is the Chair of Vedder Price’s Financial Institutions group. Prior to joining the firm, he served as district counsel in Chicago for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and was responsible for providing legal and policy advice to the Deputy Comptroller and the 500 examiners of the Central District.
Daniel C. McKay, II has over 25 years of experience representing financial institutions and their agents. He has been cited in numerous publications, including Bank Director Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, American Banker, Crain’s Chicago Business and the Chicago Tribune, and is considered a leading authority on bank and thrift issues.
Daniel O’Rourke is a senior member of the firm’s Financial Institutions group, which he helped organize in 1989. Mr. O’Rourke has authored more than 20 published articles on the strategic and regulatory affairs of financial institutions, and is also a frequent panelist at industry conferences regarding these issues.
