Patrick W. Spangler, Vedder Price Shareholder and member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice area, will speak at the American Bar Association’s Annual National Institute on ERISA Basics in Chicago. The two-and-a-half day conference will provide a comprehensive overview of current ERISA matters for practitioners who address issues related to employee benefit plans.
Mr. Spangler will co-present “Multiemployer & Other Collectively Bargained Plans” on the final day of the conference, where he will provide a general overview of the special rules and regulations governing multiemployer pension plans, including collective bargaining, funding issues, and withdrawal liability.
