Ms. Mayfield has experience in white-collar, general commercial and construction litigation. She has represented clients in Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission investigations as well as in cases involving trade secrets. Ms. Mayfield also advises client in the education and financial services sectors on compliance issues. 

Ms. Mayfield received her law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Texas Christian University. While in law school, she served as Executive Director of the Notre Dame Journal on Emerging Technologies. 

In 2024 and 2025, Ms. Mayfield was selected for inclusion in Illinois Super Lawyers' Rising Stars list.
