Lipke, Shareholder and Co-Chair of the firm's Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights group, were ranked in The Deal's 2014 Q2 Bankruptcy League Tables. Mr. Schein was ranked as the top attorney, with 21 active cases and average liabilities of $49.2 billion, while Mr. Lipke was ranked 14th, with 21 cases and average liabilities of $35.7 billion. Vedder Price was ranked second overall, with 52 open cases and $20.6 billion in average liabilities. Both attorneys earned similar rankings for the first quarter of 2014, while the firm moved up in the rankings. 

The Deal's Bankruptcy League Tables are the industry's only league tables focused solely on active U.S. bankruptcy cases. The rankings involve cases of debtors with liabilities of $10 million or more, with the rankings based on the aggregation of those liability values.
