Law360 Announces Candice Zee Joining Vedder Price
On August 22, Law360 published an article entitled, “Vedder Price Nabs Ex-Seyfarth Employment, Labor Attorney,” announcing that Candice T. Zee, a traditional labor and employment attorney, has joined Vedder Price’s Los Angeles office as a Shareholder in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice area.
In the article, Ms. Zee says that the growth of the Labor and Employment practice, specifically in traditional labor on the West Coast attracted her to the firm. Half of Ms. Zee’s practice involves defending employers in single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment and wrongful termination cases, while the other half involves representing employers on traditional labor issues, such as union-related matters.
Ms. Zee has a history of representing clients in various industries, including retail, hospitals, manufacturing, hotels and restaurants. In regards to these industries, Ms. Zee said that the fact patterns in her line of work are always interesting, which she enjoys. She enjoys strategizing with clients to achieve their goals, while providing them with great client service.
Prior to joining Vedder Price, Ms. Zee was at Seyfarth Shaw for almost 13 years, having started there as an associate before making partner in 2011.
