Mr. Gerasimovich focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity, regularly representing domestic and international companies in a wide range of industries, including special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), technology, health care and life sciences, manufacturing, real estate, energy and media.

Mr. Gerasimovich has worked with multiple companies in the technology space, including a satellite earth imagery specialist in its business combination with a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company to combine under a new British Virgin Island company. He has also worked with several publicly traded special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) in connection with their business combinations in a wide range of industries.

Mr. Gerasimovich has worked on several M&A transactions in the manufacturing and chemicals area, including the acquisition by a Korean investor group of a global silicones and advanced materials company, which was reported as the largest cross-border private equity acquisition in Korea and the third largest cross-border M&A transaction in the country’s history.
Mr. Gerasimovich has worked on the sales and acquisitions of companies within the health care industry, including a patient-centered and physician-led population health management company, the third largest provider of home medical equipment in the United States and one of the largest cultivators, extractors and producers of pharmaceutical-grade medical cannabis and hemp extracts in Latin America among the largest in the world, including Canada’s licensed producers and top extractors.

Mr. Gerasimovich has worked on a business combination with one of the fastest growing consumer travel platforms and the second largest online travel agency in India.

Mr. Gerasimovich has also broken into the Energy field and has worked with several companies on joint ventures to own or acquire solar and wind farms. 

Within the real estate industry, Mr. Gerasimovich has worked with multiple high-profile companies, including The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, located on the Las Vegas strip, in its acquisition by Harrah’s Entertainment. He also worked with numerous developers in connection with joint ventures and the acquisition, ownership or sale of real property.
In 2019, Mr. Gerasimovich received the Lawyers Alliance for New York’s Cornerstone Award. He was one of 11 individuals selected to receive this award for outstanding pro bono legal services from more than 2,000 lawyers who volunteered through Lawyers Alliance in 2019. He has been listed in Super Lawyers magazine as a "New York Metro Super Lawyer" from 2011 to 2022.
