Shareholder Joseph M. Mannon and Associate Nicole M. Kuchera, both members of the Investment Services practice group in Vedder Price's Chicago office, recently co-authored an article, "CFTC/NFA/CME Regulatory Updates," for NIBA Journal, the online newsletter of the National Introducing Brokers Association (NIBA).

The article discusses recent regulatory updates within the compliance industry, including the following:

• the CFTC relief letter concerning quarterly account statements of CPOs of funds of funds;
• CFTC relief from CTA registration for family offices;
• the NFA notice to CPOs regarding changes to EasyFile financial statement filings; and
• the CFTC time-limited relief letter concerning certain ownership and control data reporting requirements.
