Joseph Mannon and Nicole Kuchera Provide CFTC, NFA and CME Regulatory Updates in NIBA Journal
Shareholder Joseph M. Mannon and Associate Nicole M. Kuchera, both members of the Investment Services practice group in Vedder Price's Chicago office, recently co-authored an article, "CFTC/NFA/CME Regulatory Updates," for NIBA Journal, the online newsletter of the National Introducing Brokers Association (NIBA).
The article discusses recent regulatory updates within the compliance industry, including the following:
- the CFTC relief letter concerning quarterly account statements of CPOs of funds of funds;
- CFTC relief from CTA registration for family offices;
- the NFA notice to CPOs regarding changes to EasyFile financial statement filings; and
- the CFTC time-limited relief letter concerning certain ownership and control data reporting requirements.
