Labkon, a Shareholder in Vedder Price's Chicago office and member of the firm's Global Transportation Finance team, co-authored the article, "EU ETS Update: Aviation Emissions Making Headlines Ahead of Another Important Political Crossroads," in the International Bar Association's (IBA) April 2016 edition of the Aviation Law Committee Newsletter. The article discusses how aviation emissions have become a global issue over the past few years and what proactive measures aircraft lessors and financiers should be taking in order to abide by the European Union’s Emissions Trading Scheme regulations.
