Jonathan Maude, a Partner in Vedder Price’s London office and member of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice area, will present at the International Bar Association’s (IBA) annual conference in Washington, DC on September 18–23. The weeklong conference will feature nearly 200 legal sessions, workshops and panels discussing current events and contentious issues facing the industry.

Mr. Maude, along with four other industry professionals, will discuss how the emergence of new technology has created workplace obstacles and issues for employers in the financial services industry. His session, “New Technology and Its Impact on the Financial Services Industry—New Challenges for Employers,” will focus on the changing compliance challenges for employers in the financial services industry in light of new technology driven by increased regulatory enforcement and operational changes.
