Jonathan Maude and Esther Langdon to Present at IFLR European In-House Counsel Summit 2018
Partner Jonathan Maude and Solicitor Esther Langdon, who practice in Vedder Price’s London office and are members of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice area, will present at the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) annual European In-House Counsel Summit in London on 24 January. The event will bring together general counsel, heads of legal, corporate counsel and leading private practice lawyers for a day of engaging discussions and debate.
In their session, Mr. Maude and Ms. Langdon will discuss whistleblowing and, in particular, the three stages of working through such claims, including examining effective frameworks, reporting the incident and managing transfers to third parties. They will address such questions as the following:
- Why do effective whistleblowing frameworks matter?
- Who can be a whistleblower?
- What makes an effective whistleblowing regime?
- To whom has the qualifying disclosure been made?
