John H. Eickemeyer Honored for 30 Years in Accounting Industry at ALI CLE
John H. Eickemeyer was recognized on October 18 for his 30 years of service as the Co-Chairman of the ALI-CLE Annual Accountants Liability Conference. For each year of the Program, John has been instrumental in bringing together accountants, lawyers and regulators to discuss latest developments in accountants liability and strategies for loss prevention in the accounting profession.
Mr. Eickemeyer has been engaged for more than 30 years in the defense of liability claims against accounting firms and accountants. He regularly advises accounting firms with respect to risk management strategies and potential liability situations, and he represents accountants in administrative, regulatory and disciplinary proceedings.
In addition to his role as ALI-CLE Chair, Mr. Eickemeyer is a Vice President of the Accountants Club of America and previously served on the New York State Society of CPAs' Quality Enhancement Policy Committee. In 2015, Mr. Eickemeyer was named a BTI Client Service All-Star—a recognition of attorneys across the U.S. who deliver the absolute best service to clients. He was also selected for inclusion from 2008 to 2018 in New York Super Lawyers.
