Global Transportation Finance Shareholder John Imhof will moderate a panel at the 34th Annual Marine Money Week conference, “Shipping at the Center of a Changing World,” in New York City on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. EDT. This year’s in-person event will bring together over 600 of the world’s top shipping investors, financiers and decision makers. 

Joining Mr. Imhof on the panel, which is entitled “The Differing Investment Strategies of Multi-Sector ‘Financial Shipowners,’” will be Mr. Paulo Almeida, Chief Investment Officer at Tufton Investment Management Ltd., and Mr. Ole Hjertaker, Chief Executive Officer at SFL Corporation Ltd.  Messrs. Imhof, Almeida and Hjertaker will discuss, among other topics, the increasingly important role of financial shipowners in the ship finance market and the strategies they employ to match capital and long-term charters, provide attractive risk-adjusted opportunities for investors, and manage investment risk and vessel residual values.
