Ji Woon Kim, a Shareholder in Vedder Price's New York office and member of the firm's Global Transportation Finance team, will participate in Capital Link's 2016 China Shipping Forum on May 10 in Shanghai. The full-day seminar will explore how Chinese ship owners and leasing firms can benefit from the latest trends in global financing, capital markets development and alternative financing.

Mr. Kim will serve as a moderator for the session, "Shipyards, Shipbuilding & Financing." Mr. Kim and six other maritime industry professionals will discuss the current trends in the shipbuilding sector both in China and internationally; the availability of financing by several sources including State Export-Import Banks, Export Credit Insurance and commercial banks; and packaging shipbuilding, financing and ship employment to attract orders.
