Thomas G. Hancuch, a Shareholder in Vedder Price's Chicago office and a member of the firm's Labor & Employment group, will be part of the panel titled "The Practical Application of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in the Public Sector" at the 7th Annual ABA Labor and Employment Law Conference in New Orleans. The session will discuss the collective bargaining obligations that unionized employers have as they attempt to comply with, and implement, PPACA’s requirements. Additionally, the panel will discuss the changes in health benefits coverage that employers and unions should be considering as they negotiate aspects of PPACA’s requirements.
