Thomas Hancuch and Patrick Spangler to Speak at ABA’s 2014 Midwinter Meeting of the Employee Benefits Committee
Vedder Price Shareholder Thomas G. Hancuch and Associate Patrick W. Spangler will speak at the upcoming American Bar Association’s 2014 Midwinter Meeting of the Employee Benefits Committee, which will take place from February 5–8, 2014 at the Ritz Carlton in New Orleans. The Midwinter Meetings are the Section of Labor and Employment Law’s most concentrated source of substantive content. The programs include demonstrations of practical skills and techniques; panel discussions involving experts and judges; and scholarly, insightful papers reviewing recent developments.
Mr. Hancuch will participate in the session "ACA 2014: Going Where No Plan Has Gone Before." The session will provide an update on the major Affordable Care Act provisions coming into effect.
Mr. Spangler’s session, "State and Municipal Pensions," will cover pending and imminent actions for retirees and active employees.
