Edward Gross to Moderate Panel at 2015 American Bar Association Business Law Section Annual Meeting
Edward K. Gross, Vedder Price Shareholder on the firm’s Global Transportation Finance team, will serve as Panel Moderator and panelist at the UCC Leasing Subcommittee Meeting at the ABA’s 2015 Business Law Section Annual Meetings on September 17 in Chicago. The other panelists include lawyers from prominent firms in Canada and Mexico, as well as Derek Watson, a Partner in the firm’s London office. The topic to be covered is “Leasing/Equipment Financing Outside of the U.S.” and will include discussions regarding legal models for commercial laws in various jurisdictions, conflicts of law in multijurisdictional financings, jurisdictional differences and noteworthy local jurisdictional issues.
Mr. Gross is the Chair of the UCC Leasing Subcommittee and is the founding Shareholder of Vedder’s Washington, DC office.
