Shareholders Edward Gross, Denise Blau and Jordan Labkon will present at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s Legal Forum May 1–3 in San Francisco. The event will include roundtable discussions on many key issues, concurrent sessions on a variety of topics and general sessions on legal updates and ethics.

Mr. Gross and Mr. Labkon will moderate the “Air, Rail & Marine” roundtable, discussing current issues impacting lease finance of transportation equipment. They will focus on key differentiators in lease documents as well as regulatory developments that may impact lease provisions and covenants.

Mr. Gross will also be a panelist in “Advanced Lease Topics,” where he and his panel will explore automatic renewal provisions in true and non-true leases, certainty of payment and sale-leaseback issues.

Ms. Blau will be a discussion leader for the “Re-characterization” roundtable. The panel will discuss true “lease” considerations and true “sale” considerations, among other topics.
