David Hernandez to Participate in NBAA's 2016 Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management Conference
David M. Hernandez, a Shareholder in Vedder Price's Washington, DC office and member of the firm's Global Transportation Finance team, will participate in the National Business Aviation Association's Tax, Regulatory & Risk Management Conference on October 30-31 in Orlando, Florida. The two-day seminar—designed for attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors, CFOs and flight operations professionals—provides attendees with the tools necessary to develop strategies for connecting tax and regulatory planning while protecting their ownership structure from audits.
Mr. Hernandez's session, "Business Aviation in Challenging Jurisdictions," will discuss how U.S. trade laws with respect to Cuba, Russia, Iran and other countries present unique challenges. Additionally, Mr. Hernandez will touch upon how to avoid unexpected surprises in these challenging markets, as well as how export and trade restrictions come into play for uncertain jurisdictions.
