Intellectual Property Shareholder Daniel H. Shulman was recently featured in a Managing IP article, discussing in-house counsel and how to properly communicate with them in order to make optimal business decisions. Mr. Shulman references his previous position as chief IP counsel at Reynolds Group Holdings, noting that the most important issue he needed to communicate to the general counsel was the IP budget. He had to anticipate various aspects of the budget and inform each general counsel he worked with accordingly.
