Dana Armagno to Present at PLI’s “Staying Out of Trouble: Ethical Necessities 2016” Workshop
Dana S. Armagno, Shareholder and General Counsel, will present at PLI’s workshop “Staying Out of Trouble: Ethical Necessities 2016” on May 3 in Chicago. The program will serve as a refresher of ethical obligations as well as a review of recent developments impacting the professional responsibilities of attorneys in private practice and in-house counsel. The program will focus on practical guidance and draw from real life lessons from attorneys.
Ms. Armagno will co-chair two different sessions. The first, “The War of the Forms: Ethics, Risk and Other Challenges with Law Firm Engagement Letters and Client Billing Guidelines,” will focus on engagement letter terms, how to deal with common law firm terms and common client billing guidelines, and working towards a happy medium. Following this presentation, Ms. Armagno’s panel will discuss how technology continues to drive rule changes, globalization and its discontents, social media challenges and conflict decisions in “You Can’t Stand in the Same Ethical River Twice: Recent Developments.”
