Shareholder Chris Buch of the Labor & Employment practice group was recently featured in an interview with Expanding ESOPs. The interview titled “7 Questions About Employee Ownership” covers Chris’s extensive background on the topic, providing insight on the positive impacts that ESOPs can have for on the U.S. economy. Particularly, Chris identifies the “retirement crisis” as a current economic issue that could be significantly alleviated by ESOPs, providing financial relief for respective shareholders, companies and employees when properly implemented.

Expanding ESOPs is a coalition formed to encourage and educate the workforce and companies on the benefits of employee stock ownership plans. Chris plans to continue working alongside the organization, noting his personal goal of guiding clients through an underutilized transaction and strategy that they might not understand or be fully aware of.
