Mr. Druchniak focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation disputes, utilizing advanced research, writing and oral advocacy skills to fight for his clients in every phase of litigation, from case inception to resolution. Mr. Druchniak has substantial experience in actions involving commercial contract disputes, professional malpractice, securities fraud and state-law tort claims, litigating in federal and state courts as well as in commercial arbitrations. His trial experience includes second-chairing a $60 million commercial arbitration hearing and preparing witness examinations in high-profile disputes on behalf of global, industry-leading corporate clients. He has represented clients in a broad range of industries including technology, energy, aerospace, online gaming and higher education.

Throughout the lifespan of any legal challenge or dispute, Mr. Druchniak puts his clients’ interests in the best position possible by clearly identifying and communicating the key strengths and weaknesses of possible litigation strategies. 

Mr. Druchniak maintains a robust pro bono practice and has secured important victories for his pro bono clients. In 2021, Mr. Druchniak was the lead associate representing a client who was wrongfully imprisoned for armed robbery and successfully petitioned for the client’s 10-year sentence to be commuted. In 2022, the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) named Mr. Druchniak its Pro Bono Rookie of the Year for his work as the lead attorney in a case team that won a final asylum hearing for a mother and daughter who fled Nicaragua after receiving death threats for their political activism.

In law school, Mr. Druchniak served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and was Articles Editor for the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology.
