PCAOB Endures U.S. Supreme Court Ruling
The U.S. Supreme Court recently issued its opinion on the constitutionality of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). The Court struck down part of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 that insulated members of the PCAOB from Presidential oversight, but upheld the constitutionality of the Board and reaffirmed the Board's general powers and authority.
