In 2006, the Washington D.C. office opened and continues to work diligently to accomplish goals for our clients, as well as for the community.

Our people provide support for services including making sandwiches for the homeless with the non-profit Martha’s Table, donating toiletries to a shelter through the N Street Village organization, providing gifts to Toys for Tots, and donating work clothing through Dress for Success.

Our DC attorneys also represent Vedder Price in other local community initiatives, including “Everybody Wins!”, a DC children’s literacy nonprofit, the Prevention of Blindness Society and the Women’s Bar Association. The office is a proud participant and host of many events via our firm-wide women’s initiative, Women at Vedder Empowering Success (WAVES). Prior to working for Vedder Price, a handful of employees worked for the federal government and even right down the street in the White House!

Vedder Price teamed up with Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now) for our first Community Service Day. Rise Against Hunger is a not-for-profit organization focused on ending hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable. Each U.S. office hosted an on-site meal packaging event where we packed, boxed, and loaded trucks for a total of 46,076 meals!

The office is also host to a rotating art display whereby different artists are featured twice each year.
